Acquisition of Residential Corporate Lettings and
Management Business
The Directors of Savills plc ('Savills') are pleased to
announce the acquisition by its wholly owned subsidiary,
FPDSavills Limited, of the Oxford-based residential
corporate lettings and management business of Bradford &
Bingley Estate Agencies Limited.
The value of the net assets acquired as shown in the
management accounts (which are not subject to external
audit) as at 31 August 1999 is approximately £150,000.
Geoffrey van Cutsem, Director of Savills plc, commenting on
the transaction said:
'This acquisition represents an exciting opportunity to
expand our residential property management business. We
believe that this will be an area of significant growth in
the property sector and we are now well positioned to take
advantage of the opportunities available.'
