            Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
                               
                              and
                               
      Completion of Strategic Alliance with Trammell Crow

Savills  plc  announces  that, at  the  Extraordinary  General
Meeting held today, the special resolution to approve all  the
elements  of  the  proposed  transaction  with  Trammell  Crow
Company,  as set out in the Circular to shareholders  dated  6
June  2000,  was duly passed by shareholders.   Following  the
Extraordinary  General  Meeting,  the  transaction  has   been
completed.

William  F.  Concannon, President of Trammell  Crow  Companys
outsourcing   subsidiary,  and  H.  Pryor   Blackwell,   Chief
Operating   Officer  of  Trammell  Crow  Company,  have   been
appointed as Non-Executive Directors of Savills plc.
