                         Savills Shareholding Structure

The Board of Savills plc, the international property adviser, notes the
announcement made today that Trammell Crow Company ('TCC') has agreed to be
acquired by CB Richard Ellis ('CBRE').

CBRE have stated that they plan to sell TCC's 19.2% shareholding in Savills.
Savills will be happy to work with TCC and CBRE in order to ensure an orderly
sale of the TCC stake in due course.

Savills formed a strategic alliance with TCC in 2000 and the two companies
currently have limited cross-referral of business.
