The Company is delighted to announce the appointment of David William Romanis Harland (aged 71) to succeed Jasper Allen as Chairman. David Harland is an experienced Chairman and CEO in both public and private arenas. He is currently Chairman and a director of One PLM Ltd, a CAD/CAM software business, part owned by BGF Group Plc, is a mentor for Imperial College in their Imperial Venture Mentor Services group and was, until 2017, a partner of Lyceum Capital Partners. Jasper Allen, Chairman, said: "Having served as Chairman of Scholium and its predecessor company Bookbank Limited for 10 years I feel it is now appropriate for me to stand aside. The last two years of trading under the rigours of the Covid Pandemic have been challenging. I have known David Harland for many years and wish him well in his endeavours."
Charles Sebag-Montefiore, Non-Executive Director, said "We welcome the appointment of such a seasoned Chairman to the Board of Scholium as David. His deep business experience and long-time interest in the art market as a collector will serve us well"
