Final Dividend

For The Year EndED 30 September 2009

The Directors of Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc have recommended the payment of a final dividend of 2.65p net per share for the year ended 30 September 2009.  Subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM on 27 January 2010, the dividend will be paid on 29 January 2010.
