Conversion of Subscription Shares

Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc announces that today it issued 47,386 ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by a number of subscription shareholders. The ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares and will commence trading today. 

Following this issue there are 167,237,148 ordinary shares and 33,390,269 subscription shares in issue.
