Voting Rights and Capital

Schroder AsiaPacific Fund plc (the "Company") released announcement no 4339L at 17:30 on 29 July 2011 which  incorrectly stated the number of subscription shares in issue at 29,011,527 rather than 28,479,596. The corrected announcement is set out in full below.

In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Schroder AsiaPacific Fund Limited ("the Company") announces that its issued share capital consists of 146,071,120 ordinary shares of 10p each, with each share carrying the right to one vote, and 28,479,596 subscription shares of 1p each, which carry no voting rights. The Company does not hold any shares in treasury; the total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 146,071,120. 

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
