HENDERSON TR PACIFIC INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
Post Annual General Meeting Announcement
Results of Annual General Meeting
At the Annual General Meeting of Henderson TR Pacific Investment Trust plc held
on 5 April, one of the largest Investment Trusts specialising in the Far East
(excluding Japan and Australasia), all resolutions put before shareholders were
duly passed. In particular, resolutions 12 and 13 were passed as special
resolutions.
Following the completion of formal proceedings Mr. Michael Watt, the Trust's
Fund Manager, made the following statement on current performance and market
conditions:
'Pacific region stock markets were less buoyant in the first quarter of 2004
than they had been over the preceding months yet economic growth remains high
for all countries and company profits have been rising strongly. Moreover,
valuations continue to be relatively attractive compared to more mature stock
markets. We remain optimistic with a fully invested portfolio which continues to
anticipate an improving global economic outlook.'
