Q2 2023 Quarterly Net Asset Value - 30 June 2023
The Board of Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust plc (the "Company"), which provides a unique investment opportunity to help address UK social challenges, today announces its unaudited net asset value ("NAV") as of 30 June 2023.
Key Highlights
· NAV of £88.8m or 104.90p per share as of 30 June 2023, an increase of 0.4% relative to the NAV per share as of 31 March 2023 (104.49p).
· As of 30 June 2023, 96% of the Company's capital was committed to High Impact Investments, and 88% was deployed. During the quarter:
o £1.3m of capital was drawn, mainly into High Impact Housing investments via Man Community Housing Fund and Social and Sustainable Housing (SASH).
o £0.4m of capital was repaid, mainly via distributions from the Social Outcomes Contracts portfolio.
· The portfolio continues to deliver strong positive impact for vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the UK.
o The second annual Impact Report was published on 29 June 2023, showing that since launch, the Company's investments have reached 276,000 people, 94% of whom from a disadvantaged, vulnerable or underserved background; generated £98m in social outcomes and savings; and funded 27,000 affordable, decent homes.
· The Company will publish its full Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 June on 27 October 2023:
o A breakdown of portfolio performance drivers, as well as Company fees and expenses will be provided in the Annual Report and Accounts, alongside audited numbers.
