Chairman Retirement and Appointment of Successor

The Board of Schroder Income Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that Sir Paul Judge will retire as Chairman of the Board and as a non-executive Director of the Company on 31 August 2013.

Sir Paul will be succeeded as Chairman by Mr Ian Barby, an independent Director of the Company.
