Retirement of Director

Schroder Income Growth Fund plc (the "Company") announces that, as stated in the Chairman's Statement to the 2013 Half-Year Report, as part of the planned refreshment of the Board, Sir Paul Judge will retire as a Director and Chairman of the Company with effect from 31 August 2013. Mr Ian Barby, a non-executive Director of the Company, will succeed Sir Paul as Chairman with effect from the same date.

Sir Paul has served as a non-executive Director of the Company since its launch in 1995 and as Chairman since December 2005. The Directors would like to thank Sir Paul for his invaluable contribution to the deliberations of the Board and the success of the Company over the last 18 years.
