Correction - Transaction in Own Shares

A price per share amendment has been made to the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 3 July 2024 under RNS No 0540V. The change is identified with an asterisk (*). All other details remain unchanged. The full amended text is shown below.

Schroder Japan Trust plc (the "Company") announces that on Wednesday 3 July 2024 it purchased 35,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 261.714286* pence per share, to be held in treasury.

Following this purchase, the Company's issued share capital consists of 118,453,286 ordinary shares of 10p each, the total number of shares in treasury is 744,516 and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 117,708,770.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
