Block Listing Application

Further to the announcement released on 25 February 2013 Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited ("the Company") announces that a revised application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for a block listing for General Corporate Purposes of 3,528,949 Ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange for the shares to be admitted to trading.

Shares in the Company issued under the block listing will be used to satisfy demand that cannot be met through the secondary market.
