Retirement of Director

Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc (the "Company") announces that Mrs Rachel Beagles retired as a Director of the Company and did not seek re-election at the Annual General Meeting held earlier today.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Rachel for her invaluable contribution to the deliberations of the Board and her leadership of the Audit Committee during her tenure. Mr Andrew Page will succeed Rachel as chair of the Audit Committee.
