Schroders plc - Directors' Role Changes
Schroders plc ('the Company') today announces changes to the roles of some of the executive Directors of the Company.
As previously announced, Massimo Tosato, currently Executive Vice Chairman and Global Head of Distribution, will be retiring from the Board on 31 December 2016 to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. In anticipation of that, Mr Tosato will start to hand over his responsibilities as Global Head of Distribution to a combination of John Troiano, who will become Global Head of Distribution and Richard Mountford, who will become Global Head of Product. Both John Troiano and Richard Mountford will report to Peter Harrison, Group Chief Executive.
Mr Tosato will continue to support Peter Harrison and the business during the transition process and will retain a number of roles and board positions within the firm.
Philip Mallinckrodt will take on responsibility as Group Head of Private Assets in addition to his overall responsibilities for Wealth Management. Andrew Ross will become Global Head of Wealth Management and will continue to report to Philip Mallinckrodt.
Richard Keers, Chief Financial Officer, will take on additional responsibility for certain investment operations.
These changes will be effective 10 May.
