today been notified by Legal & General Investment Management Limited that
following the purchase of 600,000 ordinary shares of Schroders plc on 23rd
December 2003, Legal & General Group plc companies now have a beneficial
interest in 6,875,334 ordinary shares, representing 3.04% of the issued ordinary
share capital of Schroders plc.
