Issue of Equity

Woodford Patient Capital Trust plc (the "Company") announces that, on 3 September 2015, it issued 1,500,000 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each (the "Ordinary Shares") under its blocklisting facility for cash at a price of 114.25 pence per share to meet ongoing demand for the Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Company's tap issuance programme. 

In conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue stands at 824,000,000 following this issue, and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 824,000,000. There are no shares held in Treasury.  The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
