Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Sagentia Group plc (AIM: SAG.L) is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Lacey-Solymar as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee with effect from 11 October 2012.  Michael will also be a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Mr Lacey-Solymar (aged 49) has over twenty-five years' corporate finance experience, having spent 18 years at UBS and then seven years at Investec.  He is currently a partner at Opus Corporate Finance LLP.

Mr Lacey-Solymar holds, or has held during the previous five years, the following directorships and/or partnerships:
