Issue of Equity
Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), a leading sports nutrition company, announces it has today applied for 559,866 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("New Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). The New Ordinary Shares will be issued to Regal Trustees Limited, as part of an employee benefits trust ("EBT"). The directors of the Company are interested in ordinary shares held by the EBT. It is expected that dealings in the New Ordinary Shares will commence at 08.00a.m on 15 August 2014.
Following admission, the Company will have 25,185,457 ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") outstanding. The figure of 25,185,457 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
