Launches Whey Protein Range

Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), a leading sports nutrition company, is pleased to announce the launch of the SiS Whey Protein range, marking the first time that the Company has developed products for the rapidly growing protein market for muscle development.

SiS Whey Protein, which is specifically designed to support lean muscle growth, is available from the SiS website, www.scienceinsport.com, in four flavours and in two pack sizes, 1kg and 2kg.  The range is manufactured at SiS's Lancashire factory, which has Evolved Certification from Informed Sport, the banned substance testing programme for nutritional products used by athletes.

The protein market for muscle development in the UK had an estimated value of £200 million in 2013 and is growing at a 17% compound annual growth rate (Source: Euromonitor).

SiS Whey Protein complements the Company's relaunched SiS REGO recovery range, which is focused on the repair and rebuilding of muscle after exercise.
