Official Sports Nutrition Partner to Liverpool FC

Science in Sport plc (AIM: SIS), a leading sports nutrition company that develops, manufactures and markets sports nutrition products for professional athletes and sports enthusiasts, announces that it will become the Official Sports Nutrition Partner to Liverpool Football Club for the 2016/2017 season.

The Agreement is part of SiS' mission to become the leading global brand in the professional sports nutrition market. Furthermore, it demonstrates the Company's consistent investment in its distribution across all channels, both in the UK and internationally.

SiS, and its team of sport nutrition experts, will work closely with Liverpool FC to create bespoke nutrition plans to fuel the LFC squads for training, match day and recovery.

Nutrition plans will be tailored for each player across Liverpool FC's First Team, Academy and Ladies teams and will include a wide range of SiS products, from its SiS GO Isotonic Energy Gels to the SiS Protein range. 

SiS products are manufactured in the UK at the Innovation Centre in Lancashire. All SiS products are Informed-Sport tested and accredited; SiS worked closely with the LGC anti-doping laboratory to develop a world class evolved three-pronged testing system to minimise the risk of product contamination.
