Directorship Change
Solo (AIM: SOLO), the natural resources investment company focused on acquiring and developing a diverse global non-operated portfolio of strategic oil and gas assets, today announces the retirement of Fergus Jenkins as executive Technical Director of the Company. Mr Jenkins, who has served as an executive director since October 2014 is stepping down to pursue other business interests. The Board has however secured Mr Jenkins' continuing support as a non-executive director for the next 6 months.
Neil Ritson, Solo's Executive Chairman, commented:
"I would personally like to thank Fergus on behalf of the Company for his contribution to the growth and development of the Company's portfolio of producing and discovered oil and gas fields over the last few years. The Board looks forward to his continued support in the next few months and wishes him well in his future endeavours."
