Blocklisting of Shares

Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and The London Stock Exchange for a general blocklisting of 1,700,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each, to enable The Scottish American Investment Company P.L.C. (the Company) to issue shares to the market from time to time, provided always that such issues will be made at prices above the then prevailing net asset value per share.   Any shares issued will trade on The London Stock Exchange, be admitted to The Official List and will rank equally with the existing issued shares of the Company.
