Appointment of Director
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Rachel Lomax MA (Cantab), MSc (Econ) as a Director of the Company with effect from 1 October 2008.
Rachel Lomax served as Deputy Governor of the Bank of England between 2003 and 2008 having previously been Permanent Secretary at the Department for Transport, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Welsh Office. She was previously Chief of Staff to the President of the World Bank, and Head of the Economic and Domestic Secretariat at the Cabinet Office. She worked for many years at HM Treasury, where she was Principal Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and deputy Chief Economic Adviser.
Rachel Lomax is also on the Board of the Royal National Theatre and President of the Institute of Fiscal Studies.
The Chairman of SAINTS, Sir Brian Ivory said 'The Board is extremely pleased that Rachel Lomax has agreed to join the Board of SAINTS. Rachel's considerable experience will prove very beneficial to shareholders.'
There is no further information required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
