4 per cent Irredeemable Debenture Stock (the 'Stock')
Notice of early redemption
The Scottish American Investment Company P.L.C. announces that it has today
given notice to redeem all the outstanding Stock. There is £476,000 of Stock
outstanding.
Under the terms of the Trust Deed six months' notice is required to be given.
The whole of the outstanding Stock is to be redeemed with a repayment date of
17 December 2001.
The register of Stockholders will finally close at the close of business on 10
December 2001 and no transfer relating to the Stock will be registered after
that time.
Repayment will be at par plus accrued interest and cheques will be posted to
Stockholders on the repayment date.
