SCOTTISH AMERICAN INVESTMENT CO PLC
REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION
The Scottish American Investment Company plc announces that on
2nd March, 2000 it purchased for cancellation 50,000 ordinary
shares in the market at a price of 255p per ordinary share and
on 9th March 2000 200,000 ordinary shares at a price of 262.5p
per ordinary share. There remains 162,835,943 ordinary shares
in issue.
