Repurchase of Ordinary Shares for cancellation
The Scottish American Investment Company PLC announces that on
17th May, 2000 it purchased for cancellation 175,000 ordinary
shares in the market at a price of 259p per ordinary share and
100,000 shares at 258p per ordinary share. There remain
160,125,943 ordinary shares in issue.
