Update Re Portfolio Managers

Recognising his contribution to the management of the Trust, the Board of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce that Tom Slater will forthwith become Joint Manager of the Trust. Mr. Slater joined Baillie Gifford & Co in 2000, became Deputy Manager of Scottish Mortgage in 2009 and was appointed a partner in Baillie Gifford in 2012. Mr. Slater will continue to manage the assets of the Trust alongside James Anderson, who has been the Manager of the Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust since 2000.
