Scientific Digital Imaging plc, the AIM quoted group focused on the application of digital imaging technology to the needs of the scientific community, announces that an allotment of 28,000 ordinary shares in the Company (the "Shares") has been reversed. The Shares were previously allotted in relation to options, held by a former employee, to acquire ordinary shares. However, the Company has now cancelled the allotment and issue of these 28,000 Shares.
Taking into account the cancellation referred to above, as at the date of this announcement the total number of issued ordinary shares in the Company is 27,777,308. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury and therefore this figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
