LIBERTY APPOINTS BERGDORF GOODMAN SENIOR VP EDWIN BURSTELL AS BUYING DIRECTOR
Liberty, the Regent Street emporium, today announces the appointment of Edwin Burstell as Buying Director for the flagship store as well as the newly-launched online store Liberty.co.uk.
Edwin Burstell joins Liberty in early December from Bergdorf Goodman, where he was Senior Vice President in charge of the buying and merchandising of all non - apparel categories, comprising beauty, home, jewellery, handbags, accessories and footwear. Edwin has been a key player in the US luxury retail market since 1983, having held successful managerial positions at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Henri Bendel.
