Securities Trust of Scotland plc advises that Charles Berry, a director of the
Company, was appointed as a director of Impax Environmental Markets plc with
effect from 1st October 2007.

Mr Berry is also currently a director of Eaga plc and Drax Group plc.

There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of
the Listing Rules.
