Securities Trust of Scotland plc announces that, with effect from the conclusion of the Company's annual general meeting held on 17 September 2019, Rachel Beagles has retired as a Director and Chairman of the Company.

Following Rachel's retirement, John Evans, who has served on the Board for three years, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Company.

John Evans, Chairman, said "I would like to thank Rachel for her dedication and service over the past 9 years, and as Chairman for the last three years."
