Headline - Appointment of a new non-executive director
The board of Securities Trust of Scotland plc is pleased to announce the
appointment of Anita Frew as a non-executive director of the company with
effect from the conclusion of today's extraordinary general meeting. Ms Frew
founded the investor relations consultancy Frew, Macmaster and was chief
executive from 1990 to 1999. She is currently a non-executive director of
Ansbacher Holdings, NXT plc, Eastern Counties Newspapers Ltd and Victrex plc,
and was a non-executive director of Abbott Mead Vickers PLC from 1997 until
2000.
There are no details on Ms Frew which require to be disclosed in relation to
paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the listing rules.
