Management arrangement

The Board of Securities Trust of Scotland ("STS") announces that it has served protective notice under its management agreement with Martin Currie Fund Management Limited.  This follows the Board being made aware that Mark Whitehead, STS's named portfolio manager, has resigned from Martin Currie and will be leaving that firm as from 1 December 2020.

Mark and the Income team will be fully engaged in the management of Securities Trust in the period up to 1 December.

 The Board will be undertaking a review of its management arrangements, which process will include Martin Currie, and will update shareholders in due course.
