On 22 January 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 500,000 ordinary shares at a price of 123p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 6,383,803 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 115,915,345 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
