On 4 April 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 41,440 ordinary shares at a price of 135.06p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 9,430,459 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 112,868,689 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
