On 7 March 2016, Securities Trust of Scotland plc bought back 275,000 ordinary shares at a price of 130.51p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Securities Trust of Scotland plc holds 8,238,457 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 114,060,691 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
