Airservices Australia to collaborate with Seeing Machines to enhance safety in Air Traffic Management
Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE, "Seeing Machines" or the "Company"), the advanced computer vision technology company that designs AI-powered operator monitoring systems to improve transport safety, announced that it has signed an Agreement with Airservices Australia ("Airservices") to integrate the Company's technology into the Air Traffic Control environment.
The initial program of work is valued at around A$250K and will see the Company work with Airservices to jointly pursue the development and integration of head, eye and face tracking and the related high-level signals including; workload, fatigue and attention to support and optimize safe and effective controller performance in an increasingly automated Air Traffic Control environment. This collaboration will launch Seeing Machines' capability into the highly regulated and safety critical console-based environment with a key focus on the 'human-in-the-loop'.
