Distributor Booyco orders a further 50 DSS units
Seeing Machines Limited (AIM: SEE) announces today that a South African distributor, Booyco Electronics (Booyco) has ordered a further 50 DSS units to enable it to quickly fulfil anticipated customer orders.
Booyco Electronics was appointed as the first DSS distributor in 2010 and is starting to achieve success with blue chip resource companies and growing the DSS market share. Booyco has in the last six weeks delivered the two largest orders from our distributors to date. These units will re-sell for a total in excess of US $0 .5 million, with Seeing Machines receiving the bulk of this upfront.
Anton Lourens, Managing Director of Booyco Electronics commented: "We are seeing real traction in the market here in Africa for the DSS and we needed to build up our stock to ensure timely delivery of the DSS to our customers."
Ken Kroeger, CEO of Seeing Machines commented: "This order further illustrates the continuing strong demand we have seen for the DSS so far during 2012. In the last six weeks we have taken over US $1.7 million in orders."

About Seeing Machines' Truefield® Analyzer (TFA)
Currently going through its final clinical trials, the TFA will make objective visual field testing a clinical reality. It combines objectivity with 'non-contact' ease of use, making it easy for technicians and patients, giving clinicians objectivity when assessing their patients' conditions. Assessing both eyes concurrently, TFA tests are fast and can be run in both full-test and screening modes. The tests' bilateral concurrency allows the consensual light reflex to be exploited to identify bilateral asymmetries improving test accuracy. Most importantly, the TFA makes objective perimetry a clinical reality.
