Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 168,241 Ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List. It is expected admission will be granted on
Friday 31 May 2002 and that trading will commence on Friday 5 June 2002.

These shares are being issued as a result of appropriation under the company's
Profit Sharing Scheme and will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary
shares.
