Change of name to Hygea VCT plc


Further to the Annual General Meeting of BioScience VCT plc of 19 April 2006, in
which all resolutions were passed as announced on 20 April 2006, the Board is
pleased to announce that the change of name of the Company to Hygea VCT plc has
now been implemented with effect from today.


It will be found under the ticker code 'HYG'.
