ISSUE OF EQUITY



BioScience VCT plc announces that on 11 September and 24 September it issued and
allotted 1,000 and 23,000 ordinary shares respectively under the Offers for
Subscription.  The issued share capital of the Company is now 7,161,859 ordinary
shares.  The new shares were issued at a price of 100p each.



Application will be made for admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on
the London Stock Exchange, with dealings expected to commence on 8 October 2002.
