Directorate Change - Non-Executive Director Changes
Serco, the international service company, announces that:
- Dame Sue Owen DCB has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Serco and a member of the Group Audit and Group Risk Committees with effect from 3 August 2020.
- Rachel Lomax, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, has notified the Board of her intention to stand down as a Director on 30 August 2020.
Sue Owen has held senior positions in several government departments, most recently as Permanent Secretary for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and is a non-executive director of Pantheon International PLC.
Ian El-Mokadem, who was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Serco in 2017, will replace Rachel Lomax as Chair of the Group Risk Committee and will become a member of the Nomination Committee with effect from 31 August 2020.
Sir Roy Gardner, Non-Executive Chairman of Serco, commented: "I would like to thank Rachel personally for her support and, on behalf of the Board, for the extensive contribution she has made to the Company since joining in early 2014, a period during which Serco had many challenges and has seen considerable change. She brought considerable governance, economic and government skills at a critical stage for the Company and she will be much missed.

Serco confirms that there are no further disclosures required under the Listing Rules in respect of Sue Owen.
