DIRECTORS DEALINGS

London, 8 September 2010 - Serica Energy Plc (the Company) announces that on 6 September 2010, Neil Pike (Non-Executive Director) transferred 260,000 shares in the Company to Luska Limited, an investment company owned by Mr Pike and members of his immediate family. Accordingly, Mr Pike's beneficial shareholding in the Company remains unchanged at 405,000 Ordinary shares (0.23 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company).
