Severfield-Rowen Plc today announces the appointment of Nigel Pickard to the 
board with immediate effect.


Nigel Pickard is Managing Director of Atlas Ward, which was acquired by
Severfield-Rowen last month.


There are no matters to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to
(g) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority ('the Listing Rules') and
no further matters to be disclosed in accordance with paragraph 16.4 of the
Listing Rules.
