Total Voting Rights

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6,
Severfield Rowen plc ('Severfield Rowen') notifies the market of the following:

As at the date hereof, the issued share capital of Severfield Rowen consists of
20,401,969 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights. No ordinary shares
are held in Treasury.

The above figure 20,401,969 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to
notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, Severfield Rowen
under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
