On 15 July 2011, Severn Trent Plc (the "Company") was notified that The Baroness Noakes DBE, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed a non-executive director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (RBS), with immediate effect.  Baroness Noakes will also become a member of the Group Audit Committee at RBS.  This notification is provided in accordance with LR 9.6.14.
