Severn Trent Plc (Severn Trent) announced today that it has completed the
sale of Stoner Associates Inc and Stoner Associates Europe Ltd to Lattice
Group for a total consideration of US$26 million.

The sale follows the previously announced strategic review of Severn Trent's
systems businesses.  The consideration, which was settled in cash at
completion, generated a profit on disposal: the gain is not material to the
Severn Trent Group.
