APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND AUDIT COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN

 

The Board of Directors of Capital & Counties Properties PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Henry Staunton as Non-Executive Director, effective 2 June 2010.

In accordance with the intention set out in the Company's Prospectus dated 12 March 2010, Henry Staunton will also be appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee, effective 1 July 2010, at which point Ian Durant will step down from that committee.

Henry Staunton was a Partner of Price Waterhouse in London for 12 years to 1993 when he was appointed Finance Director of Granada Group plc. He was Finance Director of Granada Media plc upon its IPO in 2000, and ITV plc until 2006. He is an experienced Non-Executive Director whose current appointments include Legal & General Group Plc and Merchants Trust PLC.
