SHANTA GOLD LIMITED
("Shanta Gold" or the "Company")
Shanta announces that on 10 August 2006, the directors of the Company approved
the issue of 37,039 ordinary shares of 0.01p in the share capital of the Company
(the "New Ordinary Shares") to John Stockley, pursuant to the terms of his
service contract with the Company.
Application will be made for the New Ordinary Sharers to be admitted to AIM and
dealings in the New Ordinary Shares is expected to commence on 16 October 2006.
The total number of issued ordinary shares in the Company, including the New
Ordinary Shares, is now 96,706,711.
